I had to write this straightforward tutorial because some other websites on the internet are suggesting methods with unnecessarily complicated commands that might end up with a corrupt sources.list. One of It’s FOSS readers contacted me with a repository issue that was caused by the incorrect Opera browser installation. Locate the TorBrowser-Data folder and move it to Trash. Then type /Library/Application Support/ in the window and click Go. To navigate to this folder in Finder, select 'Go to Folder.' in the 'Go' menu. Note the Library folder is hidden on newer versions of macOS. If you have Snap support enabled in your Linux distribution, you may install Opera via Snap: sudo snap install opera Go to your /Library/Application Support/ folder. Opera browser is also available as a snap package officially. Sudo rm -f /etc/apt//opera.list Opera as Snap To remove Opera browser installed this way, you should use the following commands one by one: sudo apt remove opera-stable sudo apt install opera-stableĭuring the installation, you’ll be prompted for adding Opera repository to sources list. Per sistemi a 64-bit: sudo add-apt-repository ppa. Avviate il terminale con CTRL+ALT+T e digitare: Per sistemi a 32-bit: sudo add-apt-repository ppa:upubuntu-com/tor. Update the package cache so that your system is aware of the packages available by the newly added repository: sudo apt updateįinally, install the opera-stable package to install Opera. E’ disponibile per diverse piattaforme, quindi se avete Windows o Mac vi rimando a sito ufficiale del progetto. Now add the Opera repository in your sources list directory (not file): echo deb stable non-free | sudo tee /etc/apt//opera.list If you want to take the command line route, you can do that as well.įirst, make sure to install Curl on Ubuntu: sudo apt install curlĭownload and add the Opera repository key: curl | sudo apt-key add. Installing Opera browser graphically as described above is simplest and easiest method.
